Hayley stumbled into her profession as a Privacy Advocate and Cyber Privacy and Safety Expert by making a bunch of cyber mistakes herself. She realized that if she, a self-professed geek, was making these mistakes, so were others. Hayley created a website called what-is-privacy.com, and since 2011 she has dedicated herself to identifying the myriad of problems related to social media and technology and most importantly, to providing solutions in a quest to educate and help others. Hayley shares her knowledge in customized lectures and in blog articles. These days Hayley’s primary focus is the removal of a wide variety of online information which is required by her eclectic clients for more reasons than one might imagine.

CAN ALL ONLINE INFORMATION BE REMOVED?
No, however an abundance of content can be removed.
- If you want to remove an explicit photo or personal information such as your home address and age, you are most likely in luck.
- If you need to remove an embarrassing newspaper article, don’t count on it although there are strategies available to push that content lower in search results if removal is ruled out.
- Posts, photos, videos and legal records can usually be removed from social media and websites but there is no stopping others from capturing them before they are removed.
